We're told that climate change is upon us, yet the winter of 2014 was one of the most severe that southeastern Michigan has experienced and global surface temperatures have seemingly stabilized. This talk will discuss the science behind climate change, how the Earth is responding in surprising and not-so-surprising ways, and the need for action to reduce future impacts of climate change. Come learn more as Prof. Christopher Poulsen from the University of Michigan's Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences Department presents, "Climate Change, the New Normal, and the Imperative for Action."
