Canton, MI: Bill Richardson, Climate Reality Project

Bill Richardson, a retired U.S. Environmental Protection Agency scientist and engineer, will present "The Reality of Climate Change". In this talk he will discuss the science of climate change, show what is already happening around the world, and discuss what each of us can do to help develop a new paradigm and meet the challenge. It is up to us. As polar adventurer Robert Swan says, "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it."

Bill attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering. He retired from the EPA in 2002 after working as in environmental scientist/engineer for 39 years. His work primarily involved the development and application of mathematical models for the Great Lakes but also did a lot of other things to clean up the waters of the U.S.
